Testimonials:
From Librarian Laurie Balatgek – West Reading Elementary Center (Wyomissing Area School District)
Hosting Dana Kramaroff, author of The Do More Club, for our full-day, one-book program was a wonderful experience from start to finish. As the school librarian and her escort for the day, I had the opportunity to experience every part of her visit—her opening presentation, the grade-level activities with our entire 5th and 6th grades, and two small-group workshops.
Her background as an elementary teacher was evident in every interaction. She connected effortlessly with students, captured their interest with her personal story, and created a welcoming environment where students felt comfortable participating and sharing. Throughout the day, she took every opportunity to engage one-on-one and in small groups, making each student feel seen and valued.
She was also genuinely interested in our school community, taking time to visit other workshops and connect with both students and staff. Her enthusiasm, professionalism, and passion for teaching and storytelling made the day truly special. She created an unforgettable experience for our students, and we are so grateful for her visit.
From 8th Grade Student Aarav – Tredyffrin/Easttown Middle School (Tredyffrin/Easttown School District)
Hi Mrs. Kramaroff,
My name is Aarav, and I am an 8th grade student at TEMS. I wanted to thank you for visiting our school and sharing your story with us today. The kindness meeting and your assembly were incredibly inspiring and meaningful to me.
Hearing about The Do More Club book and the experiences that inspired it helped me better understand the importance of standing up for others and spreading kindness, especially in the face of hate. I felt a lot of empathy when learning about the people you spoke about who were targeted and lost simply because they were Jewish. Learning about the more than 6 million lives lost and how entire communities were personally attacked really impacted me and made me reflect on how important it is to support and protect one another.
Your message reminded me that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference, and it encouraged me to be more aware of how my actions can positively affect others. Thank you for being so open, brave, and inspiring. I will carry what I learned with me and try to “do more” in my own community.
Thank you again for taking the time to visit TEMS and share your story with us.
Sincerely,
Aarav 🙂
8th Grade, TEMS
From PTO President Deepti Singh – Tredyffrin/Easttown Middle School (Tredyffrin/Easttown School District)
Dana, a heartfelt thank-you for sharing your story and message of kindness so openly. When I asked my daughter what she thought afterward, she said—and these are her own words—“I just thought that it was really inspiring and meaningful.” Your message of kindness truly stuck with her. She especially connected with your idea of not belonging, something I can personally relate to many times as an immigrant. She told me how important it is for people to keep putting kindness into the world, and that in a world with so much hate, kind people can really help those who feel bad about themselves. Your story inspired her to keep moving forward. She was so thankful for the experience.
From Principal Sarah Stout – Black Rock Middle School (Lower Merion School District)
Dana Kramaroff, author of The Do More Club, is a rare and remarkable triple threat—author, educator, and dynamic speaker. Her visit to our school was nothing short of inspiring. Dana’s keynote delivered a powerful, moving message that deeply resonated with our students, sparking genuine reflection and action. Dana connects with young people in an authentic and engaging way. We built an entire Kindness Day around her visit, with hands-on activities she helped design to reinforce the themes of empathy, courage, and doing more. Dana’s presence left a lasting impact on our school community.
From Teacher Amanda Groen – Black Rock Middle School (Lower Merion School District)
Dana Kramaroff was an incredible presence at Black Rock Middle School’s inaugural Royal Kindness Day. As a speaker, facilitator, and author of The Do More Club, Dana brought warmth, energy, and a genuine passion for building inclusive, kind communities. Her assemblies deeply resonated with our students and staff—she engaged the audience with authenticity and inspired meaningful reflection on how simple acts of kindness can create lasting change. The workshops she helped lead were thoughtful, interactive, and aligned beautifully with our goal of fostering a culture of belonging. Dana is not only a powerful storyteller, but also a skilled educator who knows how to connect with young people in ways that leave a lasting impact. We are grateful for her presence and would welcome her back in a heartbeat.
